A Chick-Fil-A franchise store in North Carolina is facing Hevey backlash after offering to pay volunteers with chicken, The store posted the job listing on its Facebook Page and asked for volunteers to help work the drive thru for chicken instead of money.
Quote form listing: "We are looking for volunteers for our new Drive Thru Express! Earn 5 free entrees per shift (1 hr) worked, Message us for details'
The post could have gotten volunteers if it wasn't for inflation and other factors, such as volunteers receiving up to five of Chick-fil-A’s “Cool Wraps” witch at $7.29 per shift, would amount to just about four cents over North Carolina’s current minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.
