Apple's Scary Fast event recently just happened. Let's talk about it.

As suspected, it was all about Macs. They announced the M3 family of processors, which includes M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max. They are built on the 3 nanometer process, which should make them more efficient, which will especially be helpful on MacBooks, for obvious reasons.

With that out of the way, they then announced the anticipated MacBook Pro and Air with M3 and the new iMac. They all come with MacOS Sonoma, which is to be expected. What blew me away, however, is the claimed 22 hours of battery life.

If this turns out to be true, this could be game changing, if you're like me and can't remember to bring your charger even if Satan himself were to kill you if you forgot it.

The only unfortunate thing about these new devices is that it looks like they are back to the old proprietary MacBook chargers, rather than USB-C chargers.

It was rather uneventful compared to most events, but I guess it's similar to a One More Thing event, without actually being called that.
