The new Apple Watch looks identical to the Series 7 from the outside, but it packs some useful health features. The Series 8 now has a body temperature sensor that can be used for improved cycle tracking as well as tracking wrist temperature during sleep. The series 8 also introduces crash detection, so it will now call emergency services if its movement sensor detects the force that a car crash creates. The rest of this watch's features demonstrated are mostly part of WatchOS 9 like sleep stage detection. The watch comes in both aluminium and stainless steel cases, and it starts from 399$ for the GPS only model.

This is an all-new Apple Watch model primarily designed for extreme use cases. This new model has a more bulky and rugged design and a bigger battery that can last up to 3 days on a single charge, and the screen no longer "melts" into the case to increase durability. This watch is huge as it now has a 49mm case. It includes a new button called the "Action button", which can be customized to do any action. The Apple Watch Ultra is quite pricey at 799$, and it's mostly targeted towards an extremely niche audience.
