Besides the date itself, nothing is concrete, but came from reliable sources.

Yesterday, Apple announced their September event to take place on the 7th of September. This came after many credible rumors stated the event taking place on this day. These rumors also suggested multiple event dates for the company, such as the rumored launch of the iPhone 14 being on September 16th

A new iPhone 14 is expected to be announced, with a new base model with amlarger display called the "iPhone 14 max", a pill-and hole cutout for camera and Face ID system, a titanium finish for pro models, an A16 bionic chip, and a faster 5G modem.

Also, an Apple Watch series 8 is said to be announced with temperature sensing for fevers, sleep apnea detection, and advanced features that may come such as blood glucose monitoring and blood pressure measurements. There might also be car crash detection and a new "pro" model that would be better for extreme usage. There is also an Apple Watch SE we should be expecting at the event.
