Google said this past Friday that they will up the security to the sent and received emails of Google Workspace subscribers from client-side encryption (CSE) to end-to-end encryption (E2EE), according to BleepingComputer.

Currently, the feature is still in beta. One of the perks of this new feature is that confidential emails are indecipherable to Google servers, according to Macworld. It is also available to Google Workspace Enterprise Plus, Education Plus, and Education Standard subscribers.

As seen in the image above, you must sign in to see encrypted messages. Also, according to ghacks.net, "Customers may set up their own encryption keys according to Google to encrypt data. The security feature is already available for select Google services, including Google Drive, Google Meet and Google Calendar."
