How Mark Rober and others are helping shut down phone scam call centers.

Engineer Mark Rober is back at it again with a new video that explains how he and 2 other youtubers managed to temporarily shut down multiple call centers and scramble the others.

Study's form Truecaller show that nearly 30 billion dollars have been stolen form American citizens just in 2021, and that number will continue to rise each year unless something is done. this is where Mark Rober and many other youtubers come to play.

For more than a year now Mark Rober, Jim Browning and Trilogy media have been trying to track down the headquarters of all the call centers they could find and finally the search is complete. They managed to locate and identify 4 different call centers .

In order to get these scammers good the Trilogy Media team flew to Kolkata, India, and began working with a team of citizens to infiltrate one of the call centers. they went under cover as covert agents and were equipped with blue hand-staining soap for the bathrooms, a fake box of Viagra with the boss’s name on it, and also an abondance of  aforementioned spray.

With all of that in place they still needed video and that's where Jim browning comes in. He managed to manipulate the CCTV cameras inside the center witch gave everyone a good look at the ins and outs of the call center.

When all the pranks concluded, it was total chaos for not only the scammers they pranked but every other call center in India, because they thought that the same thing could happen to them. those pranks caused most scam offices to close for a few days, and even gave time for the Indian law enforcement to enact a plan to raid and shut down one of the centers.
