HTC is planning to reveal its competitor to the Meta Quest Pro at CES 2023. It's going to be an all-in-one headset, unlike what they currently offer, which needs a constant connection to a computer. It will have 2 hours of battery life, as well as support for controllers in all 6 degrees of freedom. It will also have hand tracking, according to Gizmodo.

Eye tracking will not most likely not be included, as that would bump up the headset's price. This is important, as HTC is trying to compete with Meta, as well as anything Apple might release soon, according to CNET.

According to Engadget, it will have a goggle-like design, as well as front and side facing cameras. Like a lot of headsets, you can use the headset for exercise, entertainment, or productivity. There is also a depth sensor that will "enable more in-depth mapping of a user's surroundings." Pricing is unclear at the moment.
