According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, iOS 16 could finally bring an always-on display for the future iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
However this was once rumored before to arrive with the iPhone 13 pro, but as you may know, that never actually happened. But according to Gurman, it seems likely that the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will obtain this long-awaited function. But then again, these are just rumors.
The always-on display feature in iOS 16 would also be a nice addition to the iPhone 14 Pro line following the redesign that is expected to come with a new hole-punch + pill cutout to replace the current notch.
