Nasa's Artemis 1 rocket to the moon was scheduled to launch today, however a cooling system issue within the 3rd engine has forced NASA to call off the launch and reschedule the launch to Friday, September if all necessary repairs go well.
NASA Launch controllers were unable to get one of the RS-25 engines on the bottom of the core stage to the proper temperature range for liftoff.
NASA had run out of time and had gone past its two-hour launch window. The launch team will need to continue troubleshooting and possibly fix the engine issue before September 2nd. Until then they will keep the rocket in its current configuration sitting on Launchpad 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
