NASA has captured a new image of Jupiter with its Juno Jupiter explorer, the image reveals new features in the turbulent atmosphere
The image was taken on July 5, 2022, during Juno's 43rd close flyby of Jupiter. The spacecraft was about 3,300 miles (5,300 kilometers) from the tops of the Jupiters clouds when the image was taken,
The raw image data that was taken was then processed by citizen scientist Björn Jónsson. The data processed two images the image on the left shows the view as it would appear to a human observer if they were in Juno's current position, and the image on the right shows a digitally enhanced version that allows us to see the intricate structure of the planet's atmosphere.

The color differences seen on the right image reflect the variations in the chemical composition that can be found in different parts of Jupiter's atmosphere the right image also reveals the three-dimensional nature of Jupiter's powerful storms that swirl and pop up brightly
