NASA has successfully recorded the sound of a black hole and it sounds exactly like what you might think it sounds like.

Many of you might be a bit confused because we've always been told that there's "no sound in the vacuum of space." Well, NASA has an explanation.

"The misconception that there is no sound in space originates because most of outer space is a 'vacuum', providing no way for sound waves to travel. A galaxy cluster has so much gas that we've picked up actual sound". - NASA Exoplanets

The sound you heard in the above clip came from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and Astronomers discovered that pressure waves sent out by a black hole cause ripples in its cluster of hot gas that could be translated into a note.
