New Studies show that Colorado is on track to loose around 50% of its total snow by 2080

According to reports and data from the journal Earth and Space Sciences its predicted that Colorado will lose between 50% and 60% of its snow by 2080 due to the current climate crisis.

“Changes in future climate within the Colorado River Basin are especially concerning due to the CRB’s reliance on high-elevation snowpack for annual runoff,” the study states. “The combined pressures of increasing vapor pressure deficit and loss of snowmelt could drive this region to experience a severe decrease in existing soil moisture, regardless of precipitation changes.” - Segment from ESS

Researchers have gathered more than enough substantial evidence to back these claims, based on existing data gathered from the past 30 years things only look worse for future generations unless something is done soon.
Researchers have also noted that some states such as Wyoming and Utah that surround Colorado will also see some major changes though not as severe.
