Nintendo has announced that they will be disabling the ability to log into your Nintendo Account using your Twitter or Facebook username and discontinuing Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Image Share, which let you share screenshots from those consoles to social media platforms.
Both of these services will be shut down on October 25, 2022. From that point, you will only be able to log in to your Nintendo Account using your email and password or a linked Google or Apple account, and you will not be able to share images from your 3DS or Wii U.
As of 10/25/2022, it will no longer be possible to sign in to a Nintendo Account using a Facebook or Twitter account. We apologize for any inconvenience.
