Nvidia fined 5.5 million for failing to disclose proper information about crypto mining.

Nvidia will have to pay 5.5 million for failing to disclose to investors just how much the crypto boom of 2017 impacted the GPU market.

Earlier today the SEC "securities and exchange commission" stated that Nvidia made "inadequate disclosers" about the  full effects of the crypto boom between two consecutive Quarters 2017 and 2018. During those two quarters is when the price of bitcoin skyrocketed all the way form $1,000 to the eye watering amount of $19,000.

The SEC states that Nvidia failed to disclose to that crypto mining had such significant part in its material revenue growth in the GPU market.
