For the past couple of months, there have been rumors about a new project from Meta which is an application to compete with Twitter.
Since Elon Musk took over as the head for Twitter, there have been significant amount of cuts and chops inside the team and changes in the App.
While some users are excited about the changes and appreciate it, there is another group of people who are very dismantled and unhappy with his decisions.
The forthcoming work "Project 92" is targeted towards them. Meta chief product officer Chris Cox said “We’ve been hearing from creators and public figures who are interested in having a platform that is sanely run, that they believe that they can trust and rely upon for distribution,” He also added that they want to provide creators for a 'safe and reliable app to grow audience'
Cox also said that they approached several celebrities into using the app. Coding for it started in January and they plan to launch it "as soon as possible"
Users can expect some good features to drag them into this app with ecosystem features surrounding Instagram and Facebook.
