Yes you read that title correctly, Samsung is making a Pokémon themed phone, more specifically a Pokémon themed Galaxy Z Flip Three.
According to Samsung the device will be dropping April 25th on the Korean Samsung website. That's good news for those of you in Korea but bad news for anyone outside of Korea as it might make it a bit difficult to get your hands on one anytime soon.
Specifics on the device are very scarce but Samsung‘s Korean announcement seems to indicate that the device will be packaged in a box filled with various Pokémon themed collectibles such as a Pikachu keychain, a pack of cards, a Pikachu cover set, a Pokémon ball stand and a Pokémon pouch.
The device will also feature special Pokémon edition ringtones, themes and wallpapers according to sources at Engadget.
A price for this Pokémon themed device is yet to be known as Samsung hasn’t made a comment, The standard price for a galaxy Z flip three is $1000 USD, however it is likely that the device could go up to $1500 USD considering what’s included and the custom design.
