Samsung’s Exynos Comeback ‘The Dream’ SoC, Collaboration With AMD & Google?

Samsung and Google is more dependent upon each other than you might think. Here is how the next few years for the two tech-giants will pan out. Samsung is arguably the face of Android, but Google has the full control since they made Android. But the dream Exynos team is gearing up to launch in 2025, that is coming close to Snapdragon and A-series chipsets, maybe even beating them to the punch at their own game with the dream team. Along with Google’s AI team working on the clock with Google Tensor, that is going to integrate with the software experience in order to make the user more happy to come back to its products in the long run. This is great news for Android users!

The report claims Samsung is actively working with their own partners more closely, even making their Tensor chips. Google is returning the favor to rework the Exynos chipsets. Samsung has delayed using its own chips in their flagship devices until 2025,  and it wasn’t for the reason you think. You see, Samsung knows the Snapdragon and A-series Bionic chips is years ahead of Samsung for years. Even back when the S21 series was out, Samsung tried cheating with the benchmark apps in order to make the illusion to its users that their product is actually better than it is. Which they have got caught, however. And don’t even get started with Google Tensor being behind in the in-house chipset race. Samsung and Google (as per usual) will be following Apple’s footsteps for the Exynos chipsets, being for Galaxy and Pixel phones only. Google is the master when it comes to AI, and also they’ll feature AMD level graphics.

Why is this very important? Having its own in-house silicon will make both Samsung and Google more able to make the user experience much better than what it is right now. This will make optimizing more easier said than done. Secondly, this will make the cost of production go down. Outsourcing chipsets is more expensive than you might think. Competition in this tech sector is better for consumers and drives it all home when it comes to innovation. Samsung has been reportedly working with Snapdragon chips for their Galaxy S23 series. These chipsets will have an edge still over the Android competitors. The Android phones using the new chips will have a much lower clock speed than the Galaxy S23 series, this will make the Galaxy S23 series much more powerful and more efficient than its Android phone counterparts.
