Paleontologists in Argentina have uncovered a new species of dinosaur with disappointingly short arms just like those of a Tyrannosaurus rex.

This new species is called the Meraxes Gigas, and was found in the northern Patagonia region of Argentina. They discovered that the creature was around 11m (36FT) Long and would have weighed more than 4 tons. .

Also, according to studies done this dinosaur would’ve lived during the Cretaceous period which was approximately 145 to 66,000,000 years ago.
Researchers also found an almost complete forelimb which allowed them to conclude that this new dinosaur had tiny arms much like a T. Rex. They also found an almost complete skull and foot.
