Spotify has just announced that starting today, all Spotify creators will now have the ability to upload video podcasts to the platform. This applies to all creators within the US, UK, Canada, Australia and new Zealand.
Video podcasts will work with Spotify's subscription features and creators will have the ability to view video-specific analytics to get insight on how their performance is, there will also be interactive podcast features like polls and Q&A's.
According to Spotify's press release they have also mentioned a new partnership with riverside, a platform for remote recording. With the integration of riverside creators can record and publish quality content for free.
