There are a lot of new things with the December 2022 patch for Windows 11, and a few issues were solved. One of these is a bug with Task Manager, in which sometimes part of the UI would display a weird color, causing it to be not legible. This seemed to happen when you had the "Choose your mode" setting set to "Custom" in the submenu of Personalization called "Colors" in the Settings app, according to Windows Central.

Another issue that was fixed was with DPAPI decryption. To sum it up, there is a glitch with this part of Windows that might cause your VPN, if you use one, to fail. Another issue is with the default Camera app on Windows 11. The issue was when the memory was running low, the app would become unresponsive, also according to Windows Central.

According to Bleeping Computer, there was a total of 49 flaws fixed and 2 zero-day vulnerabilities. They included the following:

  • 19 Elevation of Privilege Vulnerabilities
  • 2 Security Feature Bypass Vulnerabilities
  • 23 Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities
  • 3 Information Disclosure Vulnerabilities
  • 3 Denial of Service Vulnerabilities
  • 1 Spoofing Vulnerability
