On December 11, Xiaomi unveiled their 13 series of flagship phones. They have the brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 6.7 in wraparound AMOLED screen for the 13 Pro, or a 6.4 in flat AMOLED screen for the 13. The 13 Pro has a vegan leather version along with a ceramic black version, while the 13 has the choice of glass or leather. 120Hz is the standard on both.
The holepunch front camera on both is 32 MP. The rear camera on the 13 Pro consists of a 50 MP main camera with an aperture of 1.9, a 50 MP zoom camera with 3.2x zoom, and an ultrawide 50 MP camera with an aperture of 2.2. The 13 has the same main camera, but with the aperture being 1.8. The zoom camera is 10 MP, and zooms to 3.2x. The ultrawide on the 13 is 12MP. All cameras on both phones have optical image stabilization (OIS)
The 13 Pro supports 120W charging, and has a 4,820 mAh battery, making the 0-100% charging speed total to 19 minutes, while the 13 has 4,500 mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging, making the total charging time 38 minutes. With wireless charging, however, you are limited to 50W, making the total charging time 48 minutes.
Both models have 2 RAM/storage options, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, as well as 12 GB/512GB. It has Dolby Atmos sounds and Leica cameras. Pricing starts at $720 for the 13 Pro, while the 13 starts at $570. This is some seriously good pricing for the specs, at least compared to some of Xiaomi's competitors in the American market, but won't matter, since unfortunately these phones most likely won't release in North America.
